Intel
Robyn used her B-1 ferry mission with its sudden requirement to stay in Quatar for deployment in her slide presentation. The complexity of the B-1 weapons systems, the mission planning and execution, the large number of people involved so impressed the interview team that they cancelled the interview with the next guy. "We heard enough to make a decision right now."
They let Robyn set her own start date, so she will start April 12. Currently, Intel has no on-site meetings so she will work at home from Las Vegas. Her team, around 20 people including her college best friend, Amy, responds to customers' problems and requirements large and small to make sire they deliver on time exactly what products each customer wants.
Moving to Portland
The Intel plant is in Hillsboro out west of Portland. Considering the commute and schools for Lexi and Gwyn, they are moving their housing search across the river to the West, They set a timeline for the move in about a year and a half the summer before Lexi starts first grade.
J Alex will hang onto his job flying 737s for private company. Many airline have let pilots go during this slump in travel. J Alex figures Alaska hiring will pick up in a couple years when they move. Today, the paper had an article on Alaska's future orders for 737s so J Alex is right on.

Whoops. I used a blank draft Doris opened so this post shows Doris as the author. Sorry, Doris. Or…congratulations on a fine post.
Congratulations, Robyn on landing a job with Intel. This news sounds like a move forward for you and J Alex with his possibilities flying Alaska Air. Your daughters look so bright and sunny. We too are moving forward with our purchase of some land that Roger's 2nd Great Grandfather owned when he came to Iowa in 1850's. This is rewarding for Roger and Mark. We have been renting this ground so not more acreage.Doris
